As Deputy Director at Dickinson College Department of Public Safety, Mike manages, supervises, and mentors a 13-man police department, overseeing day-to-day operations, force response evaluation, policy implementation, and comprehensive training programs.

Drawing on his extensive experience as a seasoned veteran police officer, Mike approaches each case with a unique perspective, considering both the seasoned officer's viewpoint and the rookie's outlook. With an in-depth understanding of the significance of skill, experience, and training in officers' actions, Mike meticulously reviews facts and circumstances, evaluating them against case law, departmental policies, and current law enforcement practices.

Having served as a patrolman, corporal, sergeant, bike officer, narcotics detective, and SWAT team member during his tenure at the Carlisle Police Department, Mike is an experienced professional with multifaceted expertise. Since 1990, he has been instrumental in training and development, specializing in firearms, defensive tactics, less lethal weapons, force response, and SWAT team training.
